FIBROMYALGIA TREATMENT OPTIONS

Firstly, let me start by saying that the cause of this Fibromyalgia is unknown, but this condition creates much discomfort for the sufferer as the experience intense musculoskeletal pain, tenderness and fatigue.

Fibromyalgia has various symptoms and they may include depression, poor concentration, and headaches. And sometimes symptoms may arise due to psychological stress, physical trauma, an injury or illness.

There are treatments that work and help certain individuals but it won't necessarily work for other fibromyalgia sufferers. Fibromyalgia can be hard to treat as there is a selection of treatments and to find a combination that suits you and generally it will be a combination of medication and a change of lifestyle.
 
So, how does one treat fibromyalgia pain?
Start by using pain relievers to reduce the pain, some over the counter medications will bring some relief. Aspirin, naproxen sodium and ibuprofen are used to help reduce inflammation, minimize aches in muscles and helps and individual to rest their body.

This method helps to strengthen muscles and reduce pain experienced due to fibromyalgia.

Helps to relive pain and stiffness and helps body to relax. This also promotes improved mental health and better moods.

This method helps a person suffering from fibromyalgia to have better control of their body functions and reduces tension in muscles.

This method helps to have control of mind and body, by incorporating deep breathing, meditation whilst practicing controlling the body by various movements. Tai chi helps to improve balance, stamina and strength.

Massage therapy
Massages therapy helps assist the body in relaxing your muscles and reducing stress and anxiety.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain condition. Always seek medical advice from a professional who understands your issue. Never try to self-medicate as tis will make you situation even much worse.  There are other medications and treatments available if one method fails you don’t lose hope as there is another method that with help you live a healthy and productive life with fibromyalgia.
